Cell Culture Process Lab

Different R&D Areas:

Mammalian cell culture process development team is engaged in developing the process for the production of recombinant therapeutics as per the current industry needs. Typical process development activities include selection of culture media (animal component free chemically defined protein free), inoculum development and optimization of production process in batch, fed-batch and perfusion mode. Studies are performed in tissue culture flasks, spinner flasks and lab scale bioreactors ranging from 1 to 20 liter scale.

Additional process development studies can be carried out as per the requirements of individual customers.

Mammalian cell culture process lab is equipped with CO2 incubators, spinner systems, several bioreactors of 1 to 20 liter, external spin filters, biochemistry analyzer, cell viability analyzer and harvest clarification systems.

The Mammalian process development team works closely with the other teams such as protein purification, analytical, manufacturing and quality groups to evaluate all new processes and to develop robust manufacturing processes.
